Madrasatunnur Educational Trust was formed in May 2003 with the aims of serving the local Muslim community. Our first project was to start a weekend madrasah. We started with a 15 pupils and Alhamdulillah by September 2009 we have 175 pupils.
Thanks to the whole community we are raising funds by various means including holding a few Family Fun days which, together with kind and generous donation from the community, which Inshaallah shall enabled us to have our own Building.
In October 2009 we started Adults classes for sisters in Islamic Studies. These proved to be so popular that we had to start a second class. Sisters wishing to join should enquire at the Madrasah office.
We are also expecting to start lots of new activities especially for women and girls. See other pages of our website and our Newsletters
Also in October 2009 we started Dyslexia classes [A person with a learning disability has trouble processing words or numbers].
