At Madrasatunnur Educational Trust (MET) we recognise that in this era, one of the main priorities for parents/guardians is the education of their children. Muslim parents want to ensure that their children preserve and develop their Islamic identity as well as gaining a sound education.
Everyone in the community (i.e. Parents, Teachers, Trustees, Support Staff, Pupils) have a part to play to ensure the success of the Madrasah in trying to achieve this. If anyone one of the community doesn't pull their weight, then the whole community is let down - and depending on the circumstances individuals, groups or the whole Madrasah suffers.
Hence it is important to realise that the education and Islamic development of pupils, is a partnership in which all members of the community have a role to play.
Each pupil attending the Madrasah is important to us and is valued as an individual. Therefore, it is important that all pupils at the Madrasah have the opportunity to develop academically and spiritually, morally, socially and culturally. We also want "our" pupils to enjoy their Madrasah life and find it satisfying be able to look back (in future years) as some one of the best times of their lives.
Madrasatunnur Educational Trust is a charity that has started since 2003 in London Borough of Hounslow. We're looking to expand our operations by opening Evening Classes for adult. We're getting lots of enquiries from people that want to learn Quran, Fiqih .... etc.
MET has starting to help children with learning difficulties on Friday evening. Why don't you join ?
We also want to hold recreational activities, like football and swimming sessions for brothers.
All these require time and resources. We are appealing to your generosity ......... help us ........ so that we can help the community.........
